The Thirteenth Station: Jesus is removed from the cross and laid in the arms of his mother (2012)
Acrylic and marker on maple panel
I recently completed a 14-painting commission for a local church, Huron Hills. The pieces represent the Stations of the Cross and debuted Good Friday. They were part of an evening of worship and reflection on Holy Saturday.
I received much positive feedback on the series, following my slide lecture at Ann Arbor Art Center and Opening Reception at Huron Hills. Many people asked if they could own a printed version of the artwork.
The answer is yes! Books including the entire series will be available... coming soon!
